Today I had some buddies out, Ronny Mahan, Howard Watson, and Howard Perkins for some relaxing time on Gibbons Creek. Last fishing trip before I get back in the deer stand for a few days.

I told the guys that we needed 25 fish, and that #25 would also be #7,000 for the year from my boat. Ronny had the clicker working.

I told Ronny to let me know when we cuaght #24, so I could quit fishing and get a picture of who ever caught #7,000. Well, it did not happen the way I had planned. Howard hooked into a fish and as he put it in the boat, Ronny said that is #24. So, just as I go to real my line in, BAM, guess who has #7,000 on thier line. Yep. The guys said, we are all fishing, so no reason you can't be the one that gets #7,000. So, the only pictures taken today was of me holding fish #7,000 for the year.

We ended the day, with the boat on the trailer at 11:30am, and 70 fish caught, with the largest being a 4# blue cat. Like I said, I forgot to take pictures of the other 69 fish, ha ha.
